Why are there so many Hobnob Biscuits?

Posted September 23, 2018 08:07:33 In the midst of a major health scare, New Zealanders are starting to wonder if they’ll get the Hobnob biscuits they’ve been craving since the ’70s.
New Zealanders love biscuits, but the country’s been in the middle of a global obesity crisis for more than a decade, and it’s become increasingly difficult to find a biscuit made with milk, sugar and egg.
With an obesity rate nearly double the world average, and more than one in 10 people in New Zealand suffering from the condition, it’s only a matter of time before people start craving more than their share of the biscuit.
It’s not the only issue with the biscuits, either.
There’s also a lot of misinformation about how they’re made, said Simon Hoch, a professor of public health at the University of Auckland.
“There’s an assumption that the biscuettes are made from corn, which is not true, they’re not made from eggs, they don’t even use any of the ingredients they use in biscuits,” he said.
Instead, the biscuits are made with a mix of sugar, flour and other ingredients that are all produced in a single location, and the only real ingredient is milk.
The most popular biscuit is the Hoboob, but other popular brands include the Hoba Biscuit, Hoba, Hobb, Hobo Biscotti and Hobb Biscotta.
Even if you don’t eat a lot, you might have heard that the biscuits can help you lose weight.
According to the U.S. National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, people who ate the Hobob Biscottas lost an average of 13.5 pounds over three years, and they did it by eating less than 50 grams of fat a day.
But not everyone agrees that biscuits are the answer.
Hobnob biscuits can have many health benefits, said Dr. Hoch.
They’re high in fiber, which can help lower blood sugar and reduce high blood pressure, and are good for your skin.
A lot of the products are gluten free, which means you can eat a Hobnob biscut without worrying about the health risks of wheat gluten.
For some people, the Hobab biscuit may help them lose weight and have less weight gain.
However, Dr. Andrew Fennelly, a clinical nutritionist at the National Health Institute, said Hobb biscuits may not be the answer for everyone.
Fennelly said it’s best to use them to supplement other healthy foods like fruit, vegetables and nuts.
And while Hobb biscuits are a healthier alternative to traditional bakers, they still tend to contain too much sugar, which makes them high in calories and fat.
As a result, some people are reluctant to try the biscuits because they feel guilty eating the biscut instead of another healthier food.
In New Zealand, Hobnobb biscuits are popular because they are cheaper and healthier than traditional bakes.
Health benefits aside, some have questioned whether the biscuits actually help people lose weight, said Hoch at the New Zealand Institute of Sport and Exercise.
Dr. Hanch said he doesn’t think it’s the only way to lose weight for people who are trying to lose excess weight.
“It’s very common in the population and it doesn’t make sense to just go out and eat the whole biscuit,” he explained.
While people may think that a Hobob biscuit will help them to lose a few pounds, Dr Fennell says they’ll likely still be able to lose the weight they gain.
“You just have to make sure you’re eating enough of the other healthy things that are part of the diet,” he told ABC News.
