Flaky biscuits are a staple in my home and have been for many years.
They are often a main ingredient in baked goods and even my breakfast cereal!
I use them in all of my cakes and biscuits and enjoy them on a regular basis.
I am always looking for ways to make my biscuits healthier, tastier and more fattening.
The secret ingredient in these flaky biscuits is honey.
They make a wonderful addition to many a biscuity, sweet and savoury biscuit and can be enjoyed cold, hot or steamed.
The honey flavour is so good it is hard to resist.
There are many ways to enjoy flaky biscuits.
They can be served in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
If you like your biscuits soft and crispy, try these easy homemade flaky bites.
Alternatively, you can simply bake them for the same result.
The first thing you need to do is to soak your dough for 30 minutes at room temperature.
After this you will need to chill the dough and cut it into 12 equal squares.
You can make any shape you like, but make sure to use the flaky version, as it will make the biscuits softer and more flaky.
Then, mix the flake of honey with the flour and fold to form a dough that will make a nice flaky doughnut.
You will then need to make the filling.
Mix the flour with the honey and then mix in the melted butter.
Make sure you stir it well before adding the honey.
When you have a nice, soft doughnut, roll it out to about a 2cm diameter and cut each circle into 12 pieces.
You don’t need to cut all 12, just the first one.
Then fold each circle up and then press it into the doughnut with a small round of your hands.
If it’s not very soft, add a little more flour to make it more flakey.
Heat a pan on the stovetop.
Put a layer of foil over the pan and place the doughnuts in it.
Place the biscuits on a plate and cover them with foil.
Cook for 5 minutes.
