This low carb biscuit is inspired by the Southern biscuity biscuits from the US.
All ingredients used in this recipe are low carb.
You can use whatever biscuits you like, but we have included the Southern biscuits from this recipe because they are so versatile.

This recipe uses: 1/2 cup sugar 2 tablespoons cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 tablespoons milk 1 tablespoon flour 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for greasing baking sheet 1 tablespoon sour cream, shredded and cooked for 3 minutes 4-5 tablespoons sugar or brown sugar for filling 4 cups shredded sour cream 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon salt, plus more for sprinkling Directions: Place all ingredients in a bowl.
Pour batter into prepared baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown and slightly crisp on top.
Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup for dipping.

Recipe Notes You can make this Southern biscuits in the same way you make biscuits in a large baking dish.
Place all of the ingredients in the prepared baking dish and cook for 15-20 minutes.
To make this recipe, you will need 1 1 1 /2 cups (240 mL) of all-purpose flour, 1 1⁄2 teaspoons (5 mL) granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1⁼ teaspoon baking powder, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1⁋ teaspoon ground cinnamon.
You will need to add enough water to prevent sticking.
This is because of the flour and sugar in the recipe.
You may have to add more flour than in the picture to get a consistency you like.
