Aussie biscuit brand, Biscuits n Biscuit, is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is taking its biscuits to a whole new level by making them vegan.
The biscuits are made using a combination of vegan ingredients, such as coconut milk, coconut oil and almond butter.
The result is a chocolate-like flavour and an equally good texture.
The brand’s founder and head chef, Mark Karpinski, said he wanted to use the products “to help us connect with people who might not be vegan, or at least not fully aware of the vegan lifestyle”.
“It’s not a vegan diet, but it’s definitely not a diet where you don’t eat a lot of fruit, it’s a lifestyle where you eat plenty of plant-based foods,” he said.
“It is something that really resonates with us.”
Biscues n BISCUITS are made from coconut oil, coconut milk and almond milk.
