HBO has officially launched a new series of documentaries entitled “Bread Crumbs.”
The series, produced by David Milch, will premiere at 8 p.m. on April 11 on HBO, and will be available for streaming on HBO GO.
The documentary, which was originally scheduled to premiere in 2019, will focus on the history of breakfast and the breakfast food industry.
The series follows the people and the business that made breakfast a staple in American society.
This documentary is the first in a new trilogy that will follow the history and rise of the breakfast industry from the days of the Founding Fathers, through the industrial revolution, the 1950s and the modern day.
David Milich said in a statement, “Our breadcrumbs series has the power to transform and inform the conversation around breakfast, bringing it back into the forefront of American life.
We look forward to exploring the history, innovation, and history-making power of the American breakfast, and to bringing this history to life.”
